Guiding students and families through life-defining academic and career choices.
Who We Work With

Helping students and families make informed decisions

No individual’s path to graduate school is the same.
We work with students, graduates, and families who want clarity and structure in planning for advanced education and long-term careers. While we provide individualized advising, we also partner with schools interested in offering organized, data-driven career and graduate preparation programs. Our goal is to help schools deliver lasting value to their students through evidence-based advising that bridges academic, professional, and financial insight.
Our expertise spans helping students pursue various professional and graduate tracks including, but not limited to: MD, DO, JD, JD-PhD, MD-PhD, MD-MPH, PhD, Special Masters Programs and more. Whether this is a terminal degree for a future in the workforce or a stepping-stone degree towards a more advanced education, we work with students and their closely to explore and pursue their goals. We specialize in working with:
High school students and their families
At Asclepius Advising, we offer unique strengths: direct expert advisor work, a rare combination of undergraduate backgrounds, and advanced strategy. Our clients work directly with experienced advisors—not junior staff—with academic backgrounds in Philosophy and German Studies. This gives them unique expertise in the ethical framing of narratives, deep personal storytelling, and powerful analytical writing.
Undergraduate Students
Asclepius Advising was created by applicants, for applicants. One of our co-founders is a current medical student at Tulane University pursuing a combined MD/MPH degree program. Our expertise comes from a combination of personal experiences in addition to professional networking and development. We believe that results matter, which is why our team has taken every measure to understand the medical admissions process with real data and experiences.
Graduates
We understand how admissions committees actually read and score applications. That means we don’t waste time overwriting or underwriting—every word is purposeful, effective, and grounded in strategy. Our aggressive use of data helps us calibrate applicant timelines and profile strengths for maximum admissions outcomes. We move efficiently because we know the process inside and out.
Professionals Looking to Change Careers and Go Back to School
But more than just guiding applicants—we mentor them. We are transparent in how we approach each draft, empowering clients to not only finish their materials but grow as writers in the process. Our clients walk away not just with polished secondaries and personal statements, but with new confidence in their writing and thinking.
How We Work

Our Approach

We use data to make decisions.
Our advising process begins with each student’s story and goals. We discuss, with total confidentiality, the personal experiences and motivations inspiring future doctors, lawyers, researchers, and other working professionals to pursue their area of calling. We combine our personal insight with research and the best available data to help students make decisions grounded in evidence and aligned with real-world and desired outcomes.
While we often discuss how academic and career decisions intersect with financial realities, we are not financial advisors. Instead, we help families and students interpret policy, understand structural changes that affect education funding, and make informed choices within their own financial context and their dedicated financial advisors.
Every plan we create uses data and experience to strike a balance of academic strengths and professional flexibility. While we are not financial advisors, we work with clients to produce clear plans for their and their futures.
What We Offer

Our Client Approach

Using your personal experiences to pursue excellence

The most expensive decision that people make these days is not buying a home or a car, but rather the investment they make in their education. With so many different programs at different tuition rates and with different opportunities, we help people make informed decisions on how they make and achieve goals.
